Default KILLS Bugs FAST!

Did a car show over in Western WA (Richland). One the drive over it looked like it was snowing, nope, it was BUGS, thousands of bugs!!!

They mostly just washed off with a high pressure water, but still, not the best way to enter a car show.

BTW, I took 1st place in the Porsche category.

Congrats on 1ST place!! I went to a show at the Gorge this weekend and my P-car looks very similar. Indeed they do kill bugs fast. Average speed of death had to be 90mph if I had to guess.

Hey Stealth993...which turboS ducts w/ lights are you running? They look like projector lenses, which would be different than the OEM ducts w/ City Lights. I'm trying to figure-out what folks have been using...thanks.

2 rolls would have worked.

Got them off eBay, the ducts are really nice, but the lights are cheap.

Ugh! I sure don't miss that part of FL. It's been 8 years since I hit love bugs but I can still smell the stink when you clean them off by the hundreds.

I went through some love bugs in LA once - oh my...

I thought out "skeeters" were bad up here, but no comparison to the infamous love bugs!

How did you attach your GF A pillar winglets? Are those the ones from Automotion? Were there holes already in them?

I used automotive two sided tape from 3M. Yes, they are the ones from Automotion, they do not come with any holes.

Congrats. Thanks for posting and sharing pics Mike. There are a few of my cohorts from INWR cars... GR 997 C2S, Rufster, and `87 silver Carrera. Looks like a good turn out. I took the 997 C2S to the Maryhill hillclimb... Leavenworth this weekend
