Default New wheels

I've been thinking about replacing my OEM 17" wheels. I want to find something that looks OEM and not a lot of $$$.

I really like the look of these Cayman replica wheels. I have concerns about 18" vs 17", wheel offset, issues with them being inexpensive and of course, how they may fit. I do not track my car and only drive it occasionally. Any comments or suggestions?

Buy some used MY02s or Carrera III wheels off this board.

A set o fused factory turbo twists aren't that unreasonable either.

Not sure how they will look on a 993, but I think if they had black blades, or other color they would look better.

Those ET43 rears won't fit and the ET57 front will need a minimum of a 5mm spacer..

I have considered MY02s, but I want something that no one else had. I don't know what the Carrera III's look like. I went to the Victor website, but there are no prices listed. I was hoping the Caymen wheels would fit, but it appears like they may not. I believe I already have turbo twists (or something similar). Here is a (bad) pic when I was visiting a cabin to show what I currently have.

FYI, those aren't turbo twists, they are Boxster wheels.

While having a set of unique wheels are nice (I believed I had the first set of Gemballa Competitions back in 2000 or so ), sometimes there is a reason why no one else is using certain wheels. IMHO a positive thing about MY02s and T-twists is that there are always buyers for a good condition set so they will be easy to sell when and if you decide to get something else. At one point I think I did look at the Cayman look-alikes that were on eBay and I thought they were available in an offset/size that fit 993s.

I'm sorry but those are indeed "boxster wheels" and they are fuglest thing ever! At least our 17 cup wheels were oem and cute looking...
please get rid of them quickly as possible. Options are endless and so is price$$$.
