FS: Full set of Sumitomo HTR Z II (not III's) for 993 WB
Hi all --
I'd put this in the members only classifieds, but these tire fitments are more appropo for 993 WB owners and I didn't want it to get lost in the multi-model chatter over there:
When I replaced my 993 C4S's stock turbo twists with 996 hollow twists, I went with larger sizes and a different set of tires. Put the stockers in storage but removed the tires.
Sizes are 225/40/18's in the front and 285/30/18's in the rear. They're almost brand new -- I'd say they have 95% tread left. Have a tire depth gauge coming in the mail today and will have definite measurements.
Anyone looking for a good set of tires at a good price, here ya go. For anyone looking to muck around at a DE or AX, this set would be perfect.
Tire rack still sells the HTR Z II's and a new set goes for $478 + shipping. Tire rack ships for $50 and though it'll cost me more than that to ship for sure, I'll eat the difference. Free pickup for locals, I'm in SF.
Selling this set for $200 + $50 shipping to lower 48.

Tires were manufactured first week of 2008. Most people say tires are good for usually 6-8 years so there's still a lot of time left to wear these puppies out. :-)
