Same shirt, pants, underwear, all three days for me. You can get four days out of underwear by turning them around then inside out. I'll change my socks though, must have clean socks!

Stay safe and have fun folks! Sorry I will miss it, but I know you'll have a great time without me. I'm just not sure my TJ could keep up on the twisties.

Couple of pics and a story
Just a couple of pics from this weekend. Went for the Dollar General theme this year......
First one is on the way there (west TN and AR guys) and the second was prior to a drive on Saturday AM with about 20 of the Palooza attendees.
After the drive, I was on my way back to the hotel with Bill Wright from Nashville and David Bailey from Counce, TN. We were having fun on some great roads and then a loud bang from my car and my dash lit up like a Christmas tree. I pulled over and Bill and David found me. The noise was my alternator belt. My pit crew went into action. I provided the belt and the 'star tool', Bill the expertise and David the much needed wrench for the nut on the alternator. I can't say enough about these guys. Besides not having all the tools needed, I had not changed belts before. Bill dug right in. Without his help, not sure what I would have done.
Thanks Bill. Hope the drive home was good.
Finally got to meet Robert and Joanne. Robert's car is an absolute work of art. Crafted with love and expertise.
Great to see everyone. Hope all made it home safe without shredding any belts, etc.

Made it home to Nashville at 7:00 CST after leaving Palooza at 10:30. David, Micki and I booked it down 62e/21s/74e/7s to I-40e. Somehow/somewhere my GPS says my max speed for the trip home was 110 mph, don't know exactly where, it could have been so many places.... . We really had minimal traffic on the fun roads, it's great driving when everyone else is in church!
There is SO much more to Chuck's lost alt. belt story but he's being too kind to say it. I'm not proud, I'll confess it but I'll write it up in another post for all to learn from my mistakes. Fortunately it didn't cost either Chuck or David/myself any money, just a little added time on the roadside and slightly damaged pride on my part...... details in a day or so.
All in all a wonderful weekend, no rain until we got to Eureka Springs and beautiful weather for the drive home. Photos will come soon.

I had a great time as well and nice to be there for a second year and see familiar faces and get to know you veterans more while driving some incredible roads. Great fun and already reserved my room for next year.

I happened to see Robert & JoAnne's car as they were almost done packing for the trip home (or wherever they were heading next). It looked like they packed Speedster's car crate first (in the middle of the back seat where he had a perfect view between the 2 seats to observe what was going on in the front) and everything else was placed around his crate in the back. Any overflow went expertly packed in the front trunk (that front sway bar is beautiful).
I'm no expert but that is one very well done car. I'm not a fan of white cars but that Dove Gray is beautiful.

Great to see everybody again and also meet some new faces like Robert and Joanne. The drives were great and there seemed to be more fall color this year. I'm already starting to think about next year.
