this past weekend saw 96 cars and over 150 attend in Fredricksburg, TX. nicknamed Fburgring - 200 mile drive through the hill country, good food and music and lots of good Porsche camaraderie. I was the only 993. first pic is a 1964 356 in nice shape. the yellow speedster is one of 400 US 964 speedsters imported into the US. its a 1994 model. this was the 13th year of this event.

I did chat with the speedster owner briefly and he did have an accent but I couldn't tell you where he was from.

He has a Colombian Badge attached on his rear spoiler...

very observant. I didn't know what flag that represented. He very well may have been Colombian.

Well..it was hard to miss those 2 badges. The same can be said with the red 996 Turbo S fender Porsche Badge sticker.

there were a couple of amazing Turbo S cars there. I agree the fender badge is not for me but that's why cars come in hundreds of colors. everyone has their own idea of beauty!

I went last year and it was a blast. We had a little rain the whole time which kept the speeds down. Thank God. Some of those turn were scary. I wanted to go this year but I was in Vegas. Good group of people.
