Tri-state run
what you missed was a nice trip down route 97, which was absolutely awesome. Some real nice sweepers, very little traffic, and a few nice cars. We got split up at some point, but I hope the rest of the crew had a good time.
It was a bit of a long drive home (we weren't far from binghamton), but worth it for that road.
Thanks for setting up the drive!!!

After 467 miles in my Reccaro Pole positions, I finally got home and I'm exhausted.
It was a great trip with no tickets, little traffic and great scenery, even though we got split up. The Main Street Cafe ion Narrowsburg was great, actually quite surprising to find something like that in the middle of nowhere. Sorry if I slowed people down with my car cutting out. Seems that after three months of non-use, the RSA has developed an electrical problem where the engine suddenly dies if you hit a bump. Not every bump (that would be too easy) just every once in a while (5 times today to be exact). Thankfully, I was able to re-start it (and I got pretty good at that during the drive home). Many thanks for everybody's help and many thanks for organizing.
I took some pictures. Unfortunately this is all I got:

bob, basically we got from the palisades to 97 the standard way (thruway, 17, 84 I believe), and then 97 was about 50 miles of open road. A bit more open and less technical than the routes you and Arrwin usually come up with, but stretching the turbos legs was very nice.
So bummed I had to miss this one. BUT, i was able to use a couple hrs this afternoon to change my valve cover gaskets. Bonus.

It sounds like you guys had some fun yesterday.
I'm sorry I missed it, but I was committed to working at a car show
that we spent most of the last year prepping and planning for.
Looking forward to seeing what Bob has up his sleeve for October.

Great seeing everyone yesterday! Jay, I think we lost you past the Woodbury tolls on the way back. Didn't realize it until a couple of miles later.
Frank, glad to see you made it home fine.
I have a couple of pictures I took of Frank's car on the Palisades, but the damned camera focused on my windshield
