I'm seriously considering this, but...the starting location is 4+ hours away! When you post up the route, maybe I can intercept you somewhere along the way.
I am 3+ hrs away as well. I've made the trek for some of the drives with the tri-state folks and always had a blast. Well worth the extra drive. I typically drive done the night before and get a hotel.
Im in!
As long as I can get up at 3:30 to meet you guys.
Magdaddy, you should do it. The drives are always a good time. We can meet someplace on 81 and rally down together.
Looking forward to checking out your new ride Oliver. Vermont was a lot of fun. The front of my black car is peppered with white chips from it. I cant wait to have it sprayed next april when it comes out of storage

In Tenafly, NJ, which is 10 minutes from the meeting point, is a hotel called "The Clinton Inn." It's a great hotel. If you call and ask for the "Englewood Hospital Corporate Rate," I believe the rate will be somewhere between $100-125; regularly $200+. Don't know about availability but you won't be disappointed with the accomodations.
I'm not on the list yet....but will commit this week. As I live 1/2 mile from this hotel, if anyone decides to stay there, let me know...we can meet for a drink and/or dinner on Saturday night.
First timer question...Any need to "call ahead or reserve space" at this cafe? I think if we can guarantee 25-30 checks, they may hold some tables for us. Just a thought.
