Well done, Mister Fister!

All the 993s on this thread are tight, & the Fister-mobile's outta sight

Nice shot of that wide-butt going down the Embarcadero, hard to believe during the late 60's the city was going to put all this under an elevated freeway, good thing the drugs wore off .... Ferry building to the right next to the clock tower is where the awesome Saturday Farmers Market takes place each weekend ...

Thanks for the pic's and the humour Tim. For a "spur of the moment trip" it sure looks like you had a great time!

Loud and clear. I agree (not sure my wallet does, though)

Enjoyed every minute......well other than being totally lost in the wrong part of Oakland.

Pictures don't do it justice. Then there's that sound.

Completely surprised how well traffic moved through here. It was Wednesday afternoon around 5:00pm when this shot was taken. Went and walked that whole stretch Thursday mid-day and it was like gridlock. Crazy.

Sometimes the best things in life have no plan. This was one of them for me.

Maybe the seats can just "appear."
"a few beer" is secret Canadian terminology.
Working on the bbq logistics now.....

For those who only use their cars for short trips for fear of adding miles, take them for a drive. The longer the better. I won't lie, I almost didn't go because I feared adding excessive/unneeded mileage to my car. You know what? The 4000KMs I added to the car (now @ 131000KM/81000miles) don't mean squat. What does matter is the enjoyment I got from them. For many of us, these cars are a dream car from our past. Live the dream. They won't melt.

Hey, at least you got your car washed. And we didn't even have to get into the bunker at any point while you were over!

Agree on the driving part. The Phoenix trip was a great 2K run for mine this spring. (Sport seats help immensely.) Even if it did mean ~17mpg with the excess drag from the bikes on the roof.

Yup, thanks for the wash-zone Sir!
No bunker-hiding required. The entire bay area is a truly beautiful spot and I enjoyed seeing all that I saw. Like every city, it has it's interesting spots.

REALLY wanted to tour Alcatraz but tour was sold out four days in advance!

Budweiser was for demonstration purposes only.
(OK, maybe not.......it was happy hour and they were cheap just like me!)

They DID build it! Fortunately the '89 earthquake "un-built" it and they never put it back.
