Default Drop links - Quick question

I'm installing Bilstien HD's w/ROW springs on my C2S this week. I plan to set ride height at ROW standard. I'm also installing ROW turbo sway bars.
Do I need new front drop links?
I did a search and wasn't clear from the results whether only the 4S's have the right stock drop links or if the 2S's also have them as stock equipment.

Bottom line... do I need new front drop links for this install on my C2S?
Thanks!

I think you should be OK I just installed turbo 22/19 sways on my 95 C2 (build date 12/94) with no problems using the original droplinks. I also drilled the arms of my new rear to move the link closer to the fulcrum and it fit as well. I wouldn,t have done that if I had the ROW 21 rear

PNog,

If you look at M030 stabilizer bars on Carnewal's site it shows that you can get optional front drop links for C2/C2S. The ones on the C4S are the M030 ones, by default. They are a curved drop link. I'd investigate further if I were you...

OK, will do. I want to make sure I don't get stuck mid-project waiting for drop links to arrive.

Thanks!

You don,t need curved ones if you don,t have 4 wheel drive. You have no front 1/2 shafts to clear. The 20 and 22 bar have identical shape and curvature. I just did this install last week. The front fits with original droplinks.

Look at Bill Verburg's system analysis of the 993 vs 964 on Pelican .It is a sticky on the 993 forum. You will see a good pic of the droplinks used on the RS 993 on page 4. The front droplinks are the same shape as the ones OEM on the C2.The RS ones may be thicker but not much. You only need front curved ones if you have a C4 or turbo. The RS rears have a curve in them because the rear RS bar mounts below the rear toe links. The rear ROW turbo bar mounts above as the original C2 and re uses standard rear links also. You will need new rubber bushings for the front and rear. You can attempt to reuse your 20 mm fronts at the rear but they are a slightly different width and height as well as hole size.and would be better replaced with the correct sized ones.

Regarding the front drop links: when going to thicker than "standard" bars you should use the stiffer/stronger M030 drop links or a suitable aftermarket link like Tarett on C2/S.
Can also use RS drop links... but they are pretty $
