Default A few air-cooled sundials

Here are a few of my clocks that I completed over the last couple of months, but neglected to post.

(1) The first one is a fan clock that went to CHRIS WU:

Thank you, Chris!

(2) This one went to 'rph60'. Robert asked for something different, and allowed me to go where I wanted with the design. I shortened a 993 rear control arm, created a steel cradle for it to attach to the fan, and drilled & tapped the end of the arm in order to fasten it to the base plate:

Thank you, Robert!

(3) This clock was originally sold to Edgy01, four years ago. Dan recently sent it back and asked me to create a new housing, using Amboyna Burl. Dan told me to do whatever I pleased with the old housing...
That's where cabrio993 came into the picture. Sergio already had a spare clock mechanism, and wanted to do his own soldering, etc. Unfortunately, Dan's old clock housing sustained some damage in transit, so Sergio and I agreed that I'd repair and somewhat modernize the housing before sending it off. I also decided to create a new back for the housing using aluminum plate.

Thank you Sergio!

(Disclaimer for the moderators who recently contacted me: These were all completed on a one-off, request basis. I do not create these, and then offer them for sale.)

I really like the control arm stand, very nice.

Hmmm... I have one extra control arm and rear subframe laying around which I've been thinking of doing something like this.

Thanks to Edgy for allowing good ol' #0020 to live on, and Andreas for bring it back to live!

The new aluminum back and detachable power supply on the original AOWDesign clocks are a great plus and complement the design nicely.

I'll post pictures of #0020 once I get it all put together.

That arm is one of many kicking around my shop. Not sure I can nail down the provenance of the arm used for this clock.

I have an entire 993 rear suspension in my garage (bead blasted and individually wrapped). Someday, I will assemble and mount to the wall in our office (high ceiling).
