They have my 1996 C4S coupe with 41k miles in good condition at $41,100 private party sale. That's $1k more than I was going to ask for it (although I was trying to be fair and realistic and would sell at that price to a RL'er or PCA member.)

$37,950 trade-in value.
$46,600 retail.

Crazy.

If this was all the OP's doing, then many thanks!

At least now I'm not so worried about insurance coverage anymore....

Has anyone gotten agreed value coverage on a 993 that is used as a "daily driver"?

Reason I ask: my family has two drivers and two cars (BMW X3 for "us" and 993 for me). I rarely drive (work from home or traveling), so there's no need for a third car. However, all of the "classic car" agreed value insurance plans I saw require each driver in the family to have a primary car as a DD.

Thank you for the responses and nice comments. I am very pleased with the fact that KBB listened to me. I did repeatedly present a balanced argument but am still surprised that they actually did the research and changed the prices. I'm not sure why some of you are still getting prices in the teens unless the mileage is heavily skewering the results. I know zip codes can change some pricing but not to an extreme. I don't believe so anyway.

Not bad. Just plugged my car into kbb.com with the following result. 1996 993TT with 39k on the clock... Values at excellent condition. Its basically like new.

These numbers are definitely up from a year ago. (the last time I looked)

Trade In: $57,275
Private Party: $61,610
Retail: $67,210

Wow! Thanks 95 NC 993 for your efforts in doing this.

Mine came in at $30,835. Considering that I paid $31,500 just around when the economy and markets really started to dive (early September 2008) this is quite a recovery and a testament to the continuing and growing scarcity of these cars in North America as they get "repatriated" back to Germany and the neighboring countries. There just weren't that many made in the first place.

And we all know these were the best 911s ever made.

Can someone drop KBB a note on updating the 95 C4's? It appears to be selective pricing and having a bigger *** or being topless doesnt constitute a $10k-$15k premium. Mine came in at $19,750 for good condition, private party.

It seems that KBB is weighing mileage quite heavily. For 131k miles on the clock, KBB lists a C2 just below $16,000 (for excellent condition, retail value). Do you guys think mileage really affects the value of our cars this much?

Ok guys. I'm challenged. How do you use that site to see what your vehicle's value is? TIA

pcarhombre,
click on "used cars"
then click on "used car values" sub-menu.
took me a while to find it too.

Thanks for your work, 95 NC 993.
I was tempted to tell my wife about this, but she'd just say, "Great! Now you can sell it!!"

Yeah, I'm not seeing any change for 95's. Do they somehow think the 993 was only between 96-98?

Looks like they haven't adjusted values of C2S.
