Hi Paul,
You did a great job! The new bumper really looks awesome.![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
I'm looking to do the same thing to mine. Do you have any details to share about the install? Were there any tricks or issues? What extra effort did it take to get the rubber trim correctly installed?
I heard a rumor that the turbo bumper requires a new "internal" bumper in order to fit properly. Something about turbo duct placement? I'm guessing that's not accurate??
And how difficult are the turbo ducts to install, especially after the fact?
Thanks!
Bill

It was kinda tricky. Here's a summary;
-I couldn't find any instructions on how to install the bumper. Only instructions on how to take the old one off.
-The wheel liners are a PITA, both removal & installation. I put 'turbo' wheel liners on, as I was told they would fit better. Start at the top.
-The tough part is getting the very top of the bumper (between the headlights, up against the hood) into its 'slot'. Be very careful.
-Turbo ducts w/fogs will not fit without some trimming of the bumper. Doesn't take much and you can only see the bit you trimmed if you remove the fogs & get down on your hands & knees. Fitment is way better after trimming- I now notice those that did not trim & they have a gap.
-There are several little pieces of black foam that go between the turbo bumper & the car. Because I had no idea where they go, they are still in a box in the garage.
-The holes in the mesh on the stock bumper are smaller than the slats in the vents for the turbo bumper. When I took the stock bumper off, I had to vacuum out a huge wad of dead insects from the oil radiators. Be prepared for lots of bug removal.
Overall, it's not that hard to do, but it makes the 993 look a lot better. I firmly believe Porsche should have made the turbo bumper stock for all 993's.
As I have mentioned, if I were going to do it again, I'd buy a new one, or at least one that already matched my car.
Cheers,
Paul.

Considering my schedule this summer, I'll likely have to wait until late fall or next spring before I can dive into this. I'll certainly heed all your advice when the time comes.
Thanks again!
