I think it is stupid and a waste of time to spend the time and money on the underside of a vehicle. That is why I keep mine like this:

Of course I live in my garage. Whenever the kids are playing in our cul-de-sac I am in the garage scrubbing on the car. Build yourself a man den and you will not want to pay someone to clean your car for you. I added a TV for extra "comfort". Cleaning the car is a hobby that never ends. Hell, my friends come over and help I would imagine it would be very expensive to pay someone. I think most of us clean the underside because we enjoy the fruits of our labor other wise it is pretty pointless unless you are showing your car. It relaxes me.

Back to the topic, call a few local detailers, & see if they have experience with it. Most likely you will be paying per hour for the service.

I've done a couple of local 993's & charged over $300 for it, next time I would want more, as it takes a 8 hours to do all 4 wheel wells & the suspension arms. Then for the next 2 days the skin will peal from your finger tips. I was way to done to be able to take pics of my work.

I would pay someone minimum $300. it looks like a tough dirty job. Depends how thorough they would get..

I think my car has a particularly heavy dose.

LARPY

what adjuster is that on the bottom of the bilsteins? I have PSS9 but it has an awkward adjuster under a rubber cover. Is the one you have an option or different series shock?

thanks
Amazing work by the way.

I've used Kerosene, Xenit and goo be gone and powerwashed the underside four times. Standing under the car with all that crap raining down on you is not relaxing at all IMO but I am starting to see the results.

After seeing yours Andreas I know it's going to take a lot more effort. The nooks and crannys will kill me.

$300 is not going to get you very far down the clean road....unless you can find someone who will work very inexpensively...

I did not log the amount of time working on my car, but to get your car even close to Andreas car you are looking at mega hours.

GL and please keep us posted on your progress.

JoAnne, you're wearing white to do that? You're far too well dressed for that job!

Just a thought, if you just wore your birthday suit you wouldn't have to worry about washing dirty clothes. Just a thought.

Dear Forum;
I never believed these stories until it happened to me. I was spraying Xenit on the lower a arm of my car the other day when a woman dressed all in white appeared out of nowhere on a creeper. She said;
"I'm lookin for work.....and I have experience."

Ha. I said "minimum $300" If they did an insane job, I'm sure that could triple at least..

That would be the deal of the century. For you.

From start to finish, I could see this taking a few weeks of full days, 8-5.
