Default What a great family car! (warning, lots of pics)

Just been away on our family holiday here in New Zealand to a place called Rotorua http://www.rotoruanz.com/ . Two adults and a 5 year old and 2 1/2 year old. What a great time away and the 993 ran faultlessly.

Made the trip so enjoyable and much better than driving the family station wagon!

Excellent photos! I'm w/you on the family car front. Went to the beach this AM with my ten yo in front, and my 7 and 3 yo in back, which basically makes, um, four children riding around in a 993...

You took a family trip with two little kids in a 993? you are my hero! I wouldn't even think of doing that with my two......support equipment alone would take up more room than a 993 affords. Great pics, looks like a beautiful area. Have to add NZ to the list of must see places

Room is tight for luggage but was fine for this length of time. I bought roof racks for the 993 and just need to buy the top box for longer trips.

Great "winter" shots!

I keep having to remind myself that it can get cold down there.

That brought back many memories during our visit to Rotorua in '03. We stayed at the Novotel and enjoyed the Hangi there. We also loved that place where you take the 'sleds' down. What scenery and view from the top! Rotorua was our favorite destination, with Auckland a very close second. Hope the 993 didn't mind the strong sulfur smell in the air :-) It was strong when we went but maybe it isn't so bad in the winter. Thanks for sharing!

See my avatar. My family sometimes rolls in the cab.

BTW, I love seeing pics of a dirty well used utilitarian Porsche.

Good Job.

Beautiful trip, magnificent car, lovely family! I especially like the one where the animal is smiling along with your daughter!
