Did 993 interiors come in two tone?
Hmmm.. did Porsche really make a two-tone interior from factory? If I bought this car and converted it to all-black interior (seats swap) and maybe put in RSR door panels... would it diminish the value?

Yes it is guards red-- and thats my main preference for exterior. I can't currently find a good red/black car at least in a 993, so I am getting less picky of the interior color.

That's "a little" misleading advert. Second owner since 14k!!!

IMHO, if you destroy the factory parts that came ordered on the car to create something else, you destroy value down the road. The best path would be to buy a black interior, replace what you want and put the stock parts in storage so the next owner can return the car to factory if they want to.

2 tone is common for European cars. Every Jaguar "r" series has 2 tone with black as the base. Many others do as well.
Honestly, I like it compared to just one light color.

umfan866: Your pic looks exactly like my '96 GR with black over cashmere--stock set up OEM.
I would also encourage you to keep the OEM stuff. My preference was to get as close to stock as possible--some folks really like the un-modded, period perfect look.

It's a very easy conversion since carpets are already black. Seats ($1K minus $700 for your cashmere), rear seats ($400 or dye yours black), door panels ($500 or dye yours), center console ($150 minus $100 for your cashmere), shifter and e-brake ($150 for decent black pieces), rear shelf ($100), rear quarter panles ($200 or dye ours).
PS. The guy with $5.5K interior is smoking something really funny. Than again, it's been there for a year and will be there for a few more.
