48. Owned the C4S for almost 6 years, and the '95 for 3+. 30th anniversary of 911 ownership (a '68) coming up in 2 weeks. Never been without at least one; most I've had around at one time is 7.
The notables have been: The '68, then into an S, then into an IROC/RSR wannabe; a '76 into an SC with a real 2.7RS engine; a '79SC powered with a Euro 3.0, Euro 3.2, and finally a 3.5 all coupled to a short ratio gearbox; '77 into a 3.0 930 (never have owned a "real" turbo); '73S; '92 C4; '93 RSA that I raced 4 years; and all 4 I have now.
Most fun I've not owned? Not even a 911--of course it's the 910 that I only helped build and develop, if minimally. A couple of 914-6 track cars that I was able to run competitively. A '66 912 with a real 935 flat fan engine.
Most outrageous? One of Bob Devore's (think Devek) 928 test mules that I had the "privilege" of riding shotgun at nearly 200mph in.

I am 38 and purchased my 993 when I was 34.
First Porsche: '73 911E targa when I was 21.
I owned the '73 for about a year before I crashed it, the targa top flew off (while driving) and I realized that the $8.5k purchase price was not indicative of repair, maintenance and (targa top) replacement costs.
When I delivered my '73 to Parts Heaven (huge mistake in retrospect), I vowed to own a 911 (and hopefully many more) at some point in the future.
