It is a 1996 with 48,000 Kms. From the auction house report, it has a condition grade of 4.5 (very good), no accident and complete maintenance records.
If the car is accident free and has full history (including # of owners etc), that price seems to be fairly reasonable. It appears to be a standard/comfort model with the CS spoiler package. Is the $100K US or CDN? I know they're close these days but there's still a gap (at least today LOL).
Can't tell options from the VIN, only model etc. From your pic, it is a standard/comfort model (M002), with the leather Recaros (++), stereo/cassette, manual windows, A/C, and airbags (I like the RS without but it would make this car prime for US importation from Canada).
If you can, post pictures of the option sticker located under the hood to confirm options. If the sticker isn't there it's had some bodywork.
EDIT: Car looks to have electric windows. I don't read what I type sometimes.

Guys
The price looks fair for condition and options. Over here in the UK, the LHD cars are around £75 - £85k up for sale at the moment.
For the RHD UK RS 993 they seem to be from £100k - £125k.
Below is a lovely LHD in Germany with 12500 KM from new for €150k
^^^H&S always has such nice examples. It's funny, 48000KM in RS terms is kind of average. For a "normal" 993 that would definitely be a low-mile car. That's been my dilema for a long time; I could sell my two NB coupes and, with some additional $$$ of course, get a decent RS with <100000KM and have my dream car. Problem? I like to drive the car and I'd be afraid of something bad happening.
Japanese cars often do not have the options sticker under the hood. This is not unusual and an impoter thing. I have bought 968 6spd via the Japanese auction sites and you will only have limited pictures and information available to you but their grading system is usually accurate. I would take the mileage with a pinch of salt however with 993s as the odo tend to fail commonly and this may be a replacement odo. In Japan its illegal to tamper the odo so IF it has failed they would start from 000,000km on the newodo - only the dealer book will indicate a new odo fitted and oly if the owner insisted the dealer stamp and sign the inside front cover where there is a place available to note such a change.
This car looks straight and clean and is a desirable colour. If you can win the auctuion at 100k usd you have a good deal - however its an auction site so unless you have already won this auction expect competitive bidding as this car is LHD and very desirable in japan right now. The Yen is also fairly strong.
I spend a lot of time in Japan, bought my 993 RS there a few years ago, and the price seems low, especially given the exchange rate today. The market for cars like the RS is very efficient in Japan, they love Porsches and I am sure many Japanese have looked at this RS; I suggest making sure that you have been given full disclosure on any car issues.
At the same time, high mileage (and this would be considered high mileage in Japan) does in fact significantly affect price in that market.
And yes, many cars in Japan do not have the options list on the hood, I do not think it is a legal requirement in that jurisdiction.
