I read about the car just a few days ago on this forum, and looked at all the great pictures of the project under way. I couldn't believe it when I saw Alvin pull into the parking lot at the Swap Meet at Parts Heaven today. I knew right away what it was. The most impressive is the sound of the engine. It is just amazing. Great job on a one-of-a-kind project!!
good to finally meet you.
nice car, nice show (today at PartsHeaven in Hayward, CA), nice guy.
If there is any doubt about Alvin's psychosis on the, what should now be re-named the "Alvin (slippery) Slope"..... after 3 years and $$$ and more $$$ .... let that person speak up now or forever hold his/her peace.
The best thing Alvin told me is that he hasnt gotten the car up fast enough because he is afraid it might be lifting on the front end !.... so let me get this straight.... your "Big Bird" RUF/Promotive/S-Car Go/993 wants to fly ???
Appreciate all the photography compliments guys. Alvin's 993 build truly needs to be seen in person to appreciate all the work done. When he called me up the other day to tell me the car was finally completed, I had to clear my schedule and head out for a quick spin to snap a few photos before the daylight faded. Stay tuned for more...
