Alvin,
I've seen your car at Rob's shop while the motor was still a work in progress, and I finally get to see the finished product today at the Swap Meet... Absolutely stunning!

Thanks guys it's nice to be back here (home) again. I surely missed everyone and that's one reason I told myself I will finish this project and make this happen. Currently Im still in break in mode @1bar about 125mph in 3rd gear a lot faster than my ex 996 GT2 with stage 4 and this bird has no turbo lag. Soon it will be increased to 1.5 bar and will install meth inj but I honestly think I will never see that extra hp since I dont think I dont have the ***** for it anymore. I have 2 words for my first driving impression and it's
STUPID FAST
Out of all the cars I have and owned there is only one car that I truely love and it's the 993. I have always wanted to have an air cool motor built that would keep up to the present and future cars and now she's done.

The car is outstanding in every detail. I love it & want it too
Howver I
performed a similar project on a 78 turbo. Sunk about 100k to make the perfect beast. Sold it 10 yeas later for 35k, Not a very good investment I'd say. Does not matter I enjoy the process & end result. But the money never comes back. Maybe 1/3.

I know how you feel Rich and it happens to most of the new cars out there. The money will never come back and even to finish this car was hard for me at this economy. Will I do this again? Prob not but to me the joy of owning this car is priceless.

Alvin, did you have that car at the Marin concours?

Appreciate all the photography compliments guys. Alvin's 993 build truly needs to be seen in person to appreciate all the work done. When he called me up the other day to tell me the car was finally completed, I had to clear my schedule and head out for a quick spin to snap a few photos before the daylight faded. Stay tuned for more...
