Default Heigo Cage for Me

A fellow Rennlister sold me his Heigo cage, I in turn sold my DAS-sport bar to a fellow Rennlister.

The DAS-sport bar was great, but I wanted to have the option to run PCA and NASA racing. They require a cage....

I'll have some pics in a few days...all I can say is, this is one beautiful piece of engineering. The fit was excellent...my racing buddy who has a Safety devices cage prefers mine over his....just an opinion.

I am also adding a quick release steering wheel as well as break away connectors on my Cool Shirt. Of course I sold my FVD (?) sport steering wheel with air bag to a fellow Rennlister. What would I do without Rennlist and the Member to Member Forum?

Every thing seems to be coming together.

Smile I warn you....

If you see the installation, you will want to have one too! What an incredible cage.

I believe that Heigo OEM's some cages for Porsche, perhaps even the cage that came with the 993RS and 993 RS Club Sport.

Here's a Matter half cage for a 993 or 964 coupe.

It's FS ($750 shipped CONUS) if anyone is interested...

Going off the deep end, huh Martin? Sounds great. One of these days I'll have to make it out to see one of your races.

Smile Now that I think about it...

Matter is the company I was thinking of. Regardless the Heigo cage is beautiful. I'll get some pics this week. Thanks for the heads up!

perhaps not...no cage in standard Rs and "Matter M003" version cage in the CS.

Is it a bolt in Heigo you have?

A friend had a well made heigo in his, if it was not tight the creaking can drive you nuts!
