Default RSing the 94

Got a nice surprise this morning:

Uprights arrived ahead of schedule. Coilovers Friday.

Thought I'd share!

Keith,
Very nice!

You describe your 993 as a '94 - I presume it's a '95 model though? My '95 is an early '94 build (6/94).

Yeah, Jan. 1994 build is a 1994 year model to me. There seems to be a few differences on those early build cars vs. the regular 993s.

Well, SOMEONE here did. I hate to say it, but I let my PCA membership lapse about 6 years ago...
- about the time I quit frequenting RL as much, actually!

Agree, and most are good differences (cam wheels, no Immobilizer, OBD-1, trumpet horns, etc.). Love mine!

Too funny! You just made me retrieve the flyer from the trash just to check.

super duper cool, actually.

I'm going to force myself to do proper before and after photos on this car, I promise.

As I mentioned previously, coilovers arrive Friday. Install can't happen this weekend, because my wife has me running the South East Warrior Dash (which I'm training for by drinking an ale as I type this.)

Install next week, then.

Cool race! I am doing the www.muddybuddy.com Saturday - it is kinda similar. I will also be have a couple frosty beverages in a bit, as well the night before in Nashville, most likely Post the results of your race.

Were these uprights the ones for sale here the other day?

No, I won't be posting results - I'm no runner - just want the Viking helmet and free beer. MuddyBuddy looks great, btw!! I like the team aspect, fun (probably funny as well)

The uprights came from Porsche - we order them from time to time for client builds at the shop, so that was a no-brainer for my car.
