OT: 550 Spyder & Carrera GT

Burning Brakes
Hey everyone, I'm Jason the photographer that took these pictures. I haven't really posted that much here lately but Mongrelcat let me know that he posted my pictures here. I'll try to make it a point to share my pictures with you Rennlisters in the future too. I've got plenty to share.
My other website link is: www.flickr.com/atomic80. I haven't updated my jasontang.virtuality.org website in ages.
I drove both the 550 Spyder replica and Carrera GT that day and can say without doubt that there are no equals when it comes to these two. Both are epitomes of what a Porsche should be.

I want a 550 replica in the worst way, and these great pictures make me want one even more!
If anyone knows of a decent car for sale, please let me know.
I'm looking for an unfinished kit, 75% or more completed, or a turn-key car I can drive home.
Primarily interested in Vintage replicas, Thunder Ranch replicas, and Beck replicas in that order.

If I could afford one of those, I'd be afraid to drive it! But I would not hesitate to drive the ever-lovin' wheels off of a $20k - $30k replica

Here is an amazing example of a 1956 550 Spyder with the original canvas top ... the only soft top known to exist ...
