Thanks for posting Jason, ^^That's the 959 at Barrier? Is it still there? (May swing by for a look.)

Yes, that's the one at Barrier. I believe it's still there too.

I honestly don't think the 959 is all that sexy anyway, but from a couple of those front pictures of the Spyder, you can see a lot of similarities.

I wish I could but I'll be tracking my car at ORP that week and on another road trip that very same weekend. Drive safe you guys and have FUN! I thoroughly enjoyed myself last year!

The 959 is not a looker. I never thought it was but the performance specs speaks for itself especially at the time when it was first released.

Indeed. I don't know if you have ever followed any of Wayne Dempsey's threads on Pelican, but he has one and there are very interesting details in the minutia of the car.

I saw one on the road is Austria last year and it was a shock. Don't know if it was real or not, but it definitely stood out as a different animal.

Hey Jason, I saw you along with the black GT and a yellow GT "Mango" heading out I-90 off "The Rock" to NB I-405 at around 8:15 Sunday. How was the drive? I was heading out to tennis following you guys "incognito".

Jason - I like your work.

Do have any favorite bodies, lenses and exposures that you can share that you use to achieve your "look"?

Jason, It's not hard to spot you guys, especially "Mango"! Come to think of it, I don't have any shots of myself and my car in action, perhaps we can meet up one of these days and do a shoot. Go to the EMP on a Sunday morning and drive around to the loading dock door. The curb is painted red but is easily fixed.

Of course nice cars, the owner has a few other Porsches as well, a nice 356, a 964 race car & a very clean 993 TTS!

Yes, Jason takes great pics, he has been doing it for years....

My favorite body is the D700 out of the 3 dSLRs that I use currently. I especially love using the 14-24, 24-70 and 70-200 for most all of my shots. A majority are usually taken with the 24-70. Occasionally I might use my 16mm fisheye lens as well as a few others.

You're right, it's not hard to spot MANGO! She certainly stands out! Perhaps we could bring MANGO to EMP. That would be a great photo op. Doubtful since the owner doesn't like driving it into Downtown Seattle. I'd be willing to bring my Turbo though. Let's plan on meeting up sometime and heading to EMP.
