I had an Aventurine cab and have a Speed yellow cab. Damn, that's a split personality right there

Actually, Aventurine is a very Hank Moody color for those with Cinemax.

I just bought one a few months ago, what is nice is that depending on the light the color changes. Kind of like iris blue in a way. If it is really sunny you can see the metallic flakes in the paint and it is green but if it is dark it looks almost seal gray.
Zenith blue would have been my first choice but aventurine green is not a bad color at all and is not too common.

I love AG - especially with a cashmere, chestnut or black interior.

It's a color that looks different every hour of the day & I have a feeling that it's a color that took many DM to produce...

The color would get more love if it was instead named "Grey with a hint of green"...which is what it really looks like IMHO. People just don't seem to be fan of green P-cars

Keep 'em coming! The misguided 'corrections' are really putting this thread over the top!

Its a "Marmite" colour you either like it or not.. I think it looks great in the flesh where pictures don't really do it justice as it can look so different in different lights..

I almost bought an emerald green with cash and it was beautiful. I also saw a rainforest green car too which slipped away. Although these tend to look more british in theme, they are nonetheless, beautiful.
The adventurine is also nice but seems to do better in person than in pictures. It is personal choice andi if you ever sell, someone who loves your car will buy it.

actually one of my favorite colors, I looked at one, but it had a mysterious history and I got different stories on the rebuild of the motor, so I passed.

It is one of the best looking colors for the 993 IMHO.

+993. Every time I go to some car event, at least two people search me out to ask what color it is and comment about it's beauty. While it has a lot of grey, it also has some dark blue in it. In fact, depending on the light and background, it can look bluish-grey without much green at all (see avatar). A very elegant, understated and uncommon color. I've seen where Porsche used the terms "Aventurine Green" and "Aventure Green", although the former is, by far, the most common.
