This guy got taken! If you don't believe me ...do your reserch on 355's. I have owned Ferrari's for years and have good friends in the restoration and service business. I have worked on and driven 355's and I don't claim to be a "know it all" by any means, but I do have a good general knowledge of Ferrari's.

Now I'm learning about 993's, wich is why I'm hangin out here.

You lost me here. The 355 does have valve lash adjusters on the cam followers, right? The 360 was the first with hydraulic lifters, no?

355 has hydraulic tappets:

It's no big secret that 355's have hydraulic tappets ...just look it up

Back on topic -

I second the M coupe as replacement for the 993. Fantastic performer great sound and a blast to drive. It will never look as good as a 993 though.

what about the Jaguar XKR coupe? Never driven one (I do own the XJR sedan, though)

I love that car, too, the new version is super nice and luxe. Nothing wrong with a little luxury after 12 years of 911 ownership if you want it.
