997 seats into 993?

Mike,
It's a black interior. I have a beat on some 997 seats ("manual" non-memory I believe) from a fellow RLer but we are currently trying to work out shipping. I never really liked the electric fwd/back movement as it is really slow in the standard 993 seats, I don't think I would even miss it. I will shoot you a PM and we can discuss the docs etc. that you have gotten from others while doing research. I plan to get this done within the month or so, praying that I can locate some seats!

Kevin, if you go with manually adjustable forward/back motion seat the install should be very simple.
Shipping is not too bad. HD has a box that these fit. Cost on mine was, I think, $150 per from Cali.
If you'd like to swing by and seat in my 997 seats while they are still here, you're more than welcome. The 997 seats are very nice, that's for sure. If i eventually find a set with heat and manual adjustments I'll probably get them. I'm just not sure how many heat/manual seats there are.

An easy way to get them installed using the factory sliders that come with those seats can be done using these parts from Brey Krause.

Using the Brey Krause adapters I had to open up the hole a bit more in the seat rail that allows access to the bolt. My socket heads could not get through cleanly so I just took a dremel grinding them open further approx an additional 2mm.
