Default Sac PCA - FDM "Muffler Tour" pics

A bunch of great folks from the Sacramento PCA did a drive yesterday and ended up at the shop.

They picked the right day, great weather... the drive along the river must have been very nice.
Some cans were swapped, seminars held by the Auspufftopf König and a general good time had by all.

Thanks to Roger (1pcarnut) for organizing. It was nice to meet up with fellow enthusiasts. Roger's new 993 is a very nice example... and getting cleaner every day he owns it, apparently. Now it sounds extra mean with the Stage IIIs.

Looking back I didn't get near enough pics... I suck at photo documentation

Hi Darin and Mark, You beat me to posting on this. We had a great time yesterday and as you say, the weather was perfect and the drive along the Delta was very scenic and very little traffic. We had brunch at the Pirate's Lair Marina and they were super nice and accommodating, even had parking in the shade. If you're looking for a picturesque place to stop, check it out, they're just outside Isleton.

Really enjoyed hearing you talk about your muffler mods, shift linkage, bushing etc. Thanks for having us. The Stg IIIs are pretty wicked sounding, still getting used to them.

Belongs to a guy named Jeff, one of the PCA members, he's not on Rennlist though. He got my Stg Is. Loves them.

I just love that color. There's a Turbo at Willhoit right now in that color that keeps waking me up at night ...

I've got Stage I's on my coupe and I also love them, it's exactly the tone/level that I wanted and I never get tired of hearing them through the sunroof. I was at the Ranch in Petaluma a couple of weeks ago painting the inside of our new digs and the neighbor lady (in her late 60's) came over to tell me how much she and her now bed-ridden husband enjoy hearing my car come and go. I guess he's an old racer-boy from way back and is now living vicariously through my exhaust note ....

Roger,
We cant thank you enough for putting this together. It's always fun meeting such a great enthusiastic group of Porsche people. I hope everyone had a good time, I know we did.

FYI, I've found it to be a lot easier to upload your pics to a photosharing site like photobucket, and then attache a link to the photos in your post. It also makes it easier to insert photos into the middle of text in your post if you are trying to describe a process or instructions (I think IIRC using the upload function puts your pics at the end of the text in your post)

Wish I was there as well, I love the left coast. Darin and Mark are good people.
