Local guy here in NJ did the work. Very, Very reasonable.

If anyone is looking for one, I now have for sale:

a black dash top (two small mounting holes on top, not sure what the previous owner mounted there, but barely noticeable).

Black 993 glovebox

Black 964 underdash

Black Ashtray

Looks great. How do you keep this stuff clean a year down the road?

Could you indicate the price range (PM is OK, but I think a lot of us would like to know)?

Also, is this real suede or Alcantara? Any concerns with longevity?

My guess is that alcantra was the answer to suede's cleaning question...

That really looks great! You've got to be really happy.

Robert is in the garage right now doing the rear window sills, door sills and the lower dash in our new toy in himself in Alcantara. The dash will be done (French Seam stitched in red) by a local guy. So far the rear window sills are done and I've got to say, I am very proud of him. They turned out great.

Now you got me excited to see what it looks like all done!

Thanks for posting.

PS: What color seat belts are you using?

As far as price, it was very far below $1000. I have his cell phone number, so I will PM that to anyone who wants it. Tomorrow I will get his shop number and post that for everyone. His name is Chris and the shop is called "Tops in Trim". I will also ask him for pricing for the forum.

RJT, I have not decided on seatbelts yet. I am also thinking of having all the grey vinyl wrapped in real black leather. Not sure, but my only problem with this is the grey now looks a little tired up against the Suede. I also had the door inserts wrapped in suede, but I am waiting for the pockets to be finished.

I believe the material is ULTRASUEDE, kinda similar to Alcantara (possibly same company?)...it may be Alcantara, a buddy of mine had his 7 series BMW wrapped in this material from the same shop a few years ago, looks as good today as the day it was done, so I know it will hold up and not fade.

We went with Red seat belts and our door pockets were covered with the Grey German Square weave carpeting that covers the entire back of the car (seats deleted) and of course, the floors.

Can't wait to see yours it all installed.

IMHO Alcantara is VERY similar to UV protected Automotive Ultrasuede. According to wikipedia (I know), Alcantara is 68% polyester, 32% polyurethane, while Ultrasuede is 100% polyester. I know that I was quoted a lot more for Alcantara than Ultrasuede when I was redoing my seats. I couldn't really tell the difference, so I chose the Ultrasuede. No complaints whatsoever!

FWIW, I know that "Alcantara" is a brand, but that many different companies make "Ultrasuede."
