Default LOL - difference between Corvette and P car demographic?

OK, i admit, new corvettes are awesomely capable cars, but some people buy them and some people buy Porsche's.
I'll stop there.

Check out this advert targeted to the Corvette enthusiast demographic.

How does this compare with one of Andreas' clocks?

Cookoo cookoo................

The new Vette's are pretty kick butt though. I wouldn't mind having one <DUCKING.....> since I can't find the 993 that I want anyway.

Just like their cars...tacky.

You could put a Harley Davidson in its place...same thing.

Default I'll wait...

I'm sure the limited edition Dale Earnhart version can't be far behind. That's what I'll be waiting for...

Nice thing is they all come with a Certificate of Authenticity that is suitable for framing. Just think, if you act now, you might get clock #993 of 5000!

Better still, sell them at Barrett-Jackson and they will be grossly overpriced making you even more money.

I never laughed so hard in some time now. I love phrasing like "bold tribute", "dramatic asphalt- black", "roaring", interspersed with "5 easy payments" and "cuckoo clock". But the coolest thing by far is that GM officially licensed it; kind of like Porsche Design isn't it? very cool.

This has got to be a joke. American "Legend" Car on a German/Swiss/Austrian Coo Coo Clock.......
I love Corvettes, their design, looks and especially their abilities, but this type of stuff is exactly why I went with Porsche! Only if someday the Corvette could shake the stigma and get some owners with some self-respect, dignity!!!
Disclaimer -- I understand this is the stereotype and I am sure there are a few Corvette owners out there who are as embarrassed with these type of things as all Americans should be.

C'mon guys. There's some pretty tacky Porsche novelty items out there as well. You could probably
find something on Fleabay in just a few minutes.

The uber vet will beat the uber 911 all day long on a track and at half the price. Excellence did an article on it a couple months ago. They did not like the interior quality, but, c'mon. It outran the GT2 even though the Porsche was on R-compounds and the vette was on performance street tires.

There are a lot of guys that bring the vettes to our local PCA autocross. Some have Porsches too some don't. Nice guys and fast cars (plus I love the sound of the V8). I had to take the vette off my short list because no back seat and I like more compact cars.
