Trade WB 17" Kinesis for equivalent narrowbody fitment?
Picked these Kinesis K59's (?) up a few years ago. Have only been used as track wheels. No curbing/blemishes/bent lips/etc. But they're 17's. And oddball width/offset, to boot. (Don't ask why/how. Bought them used from a guy who was working around Time Trial rules of the day.)
Specifics:
F: 17X8.5, 45mm offset
R: 17X10, 38mm offset
They've worked fine with 245/275 Hoosiers on my C4S. But that car is never, ever, ever going on track again unless I'm 2-3K miles away on a trip where I don't have extra wheels to use.
What I'd LIKE to do is trade for equivalent value narrowbody wheels that I can use on the yellow car, preferably 17's. (I know I'm the one oddball who likes running 17's v. 18's.)

You're not an oddball if you like them for the street. I'm strictly talking track performance, and that I have run my personal best times with both RSA #1 (racing) and the yellow car with 235 or 245 and 275X17s. Either Toyos or Hoosiers.

Actually, 13" DOT rubber choices are to that great. There's Hoosiers and there's Kumho V710. The problem is that the newest 710s that TireRack carries are produced in 2005. No kidding. I will have a problem this summer.

Oh, a regular car. I ran 215/60-13 on my IT class Scirocco in the '80's. Yoko A001R's, the very first R compound to hit these shores. We laughed at the guys who first put them on the Showroom Stock RX-7's at the beginning of the '83 season. I was helping a friend in class with one, and we didn't laugh after about lap 2 when they pulled the existing track record at Sears down by about 5 seconds...................
