Now you guys have me thinking yellow fogs! I always like the GT racers with the yellow headlights...but thats obviously not for an arena red streeter. but yellow fogs...used to have those on my old Saabs and still do on my pathfinder. Excuse me while I go log into the superbrights site again...

:PS I have also gotten SO MUCH from the other contibutors on RL! Coming here and being part of the community is a big part of owning my 993 for sure.

GO TO LED FESTOON BULBS AND USE THE THUMBNAILS ON THE RIGHT...LOOK FOR
4410CW9 AND CLICK BUY NOW.

Go to LED daytime running light section and click on the thumbnail to the right and pick your H3 bulb there (mine was H3WHP9 9 POWER)

Good luck!
I literally needed these 'hand over hand' instructions to get me to the right product on the superbright.com site. Thanks ABCar!

I ended up finding a few fun flashlight items that I also bought for the guys in the office. I think this will be one of the best low cost upgrades I'll ever likely make.

I appreciate the info and the guided walkthrough of the order process (Ironically, I make software for a living so it says something about me or superbright - one of us has the wrong approach to an online experience.)

ABCar, thanks for navigating superbrightleds.com and finding all those model numbers.
that site has some great products.
I ordered one of the high power LED Festoon bulbs, 4410-xHP12 for the engine light. it'll be interesting to see how much light it provides. that and the cigarette lighter flashlight could be enough light for a night time rain soaked belt change.
I have one of those cigarette lighter flashlight. It was bright for its size but there are issues. 1) it is small and doesn't fit the lighter socket very well, I have to wrap tape around it. 2) after about a year, the flashlight suddenly become very dim.

In the short time that it worked, it was great! Very convenience.

For reference, I just installed the Silverstar H3 fog bulbs to try and match my 5000k HID headlights. The fogs are now brighter than stock but still no where near as white as the headlights. Perhaps I'll try the LEDs next.

I'm headed out of town for a week but I'll try to post pics when I return if someone hasn't beaten me to it.

So, is there a solution to the off-color high beams? My car has had the lo-beams upgraded to HID, but when I switch to hi-beam, lighting is terrible. I guess I can convert hi beams to HID, but I understand that fitting another ballast will be tough. Will another bulb help this out?

The contrast btw my regular HIDs and the high beams is huge. I no longer use my highs for light anymore. There is far more service from the HIDs unless I'm just trying to get someone's attention. YMMV

I really don't consider the high beams useful after installing the HID low beams (not that I have ever used them much anyway).

OK, so does anyone know how the H3-WHP9 from Superbrightleds.com compare to the Silverstar H3's? in terms of being white and bright?

SKM, the superbright bulb you listed is for daylight running lights. at the bottom of the chart, says not enough lumination for night illumination....http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...FH3_11-WHP.htm

I want to light the night fantastic! We have dark little country roads here in Tennessee.
