Well, the other car had 140K miles, had LFW and stalled sometimes (thus GF was not happy driving it). I felt that it's not that bad an idea to swap to a lower mileage and better overall shape car and try to make it a daily driver again.

Congrats, beautiful car, yellow is nice. I sometimes wish I had something other than black. Then again, once I'm in it and driving, that stupid perma grin on my face, I could be driving a pink 993 and I'd be happy.

Thanks, guys!
Dennis, this will be a daily driver, at least for a while. So storage is going to be right next to the condo. And Miata is going to be parked at Ft. Devens at least for the season.
Darin, I might be hitting you a bit later for some shifter goodness. The previous 993 had an RS shifter, this one feels a bit long in comparison. The irony is that the rod and other internals were replaced with OEM parts about 3 years ago, shame to just throw them out.

Congrats Mike. Excellent upgrade. I remember you've been on the fence about what to do with the old car. The new one is stunning. Enjoy in good health.

"shifter goodness"..I like that!
Except the shift rod. That's a core exchange item....and we are desperate for cores!
