Well, I was not kidding on April 1 after all.

Came home with another '95 cab, this time in Speed Yellow. Drove it home 700 miles. Not too bad. Some minor issues to take care of, suspension is soft, clutch pedal is much more pleasant than my previous 993. Essentially, I was not all that sad about selling my Aventurine cab because I kind of new that I'd be buying this one. Made the deal the same day my old 993 got picked up by the new owner.

I'm not a big fan of twists for some reason. There was a set of HRE540s for sale that I absolutely loved, but it got sold. I might go with 17"s, actually, as I like the smaller wheels better. But my preference is either straight 5-spoke (RUF) or a mesh.

One thing the car has is aftermarket silver gauge faces. Which I can't stand as the warnings are all hidden and the backlights cast odd shadows. So I'm looking for a set of stock black faces as the very first thing to do. If anyone has a set laying around, please let me know.

I'm not sure about the color, actually. I loved Aventurine, it suited me. Had a certain Hank Moody quality to it. But I wanted a yellow car for quite some time, so we'll see. It's just a bit flashy in person to put it mildly

The nice thing about this one is that clutch pedal is nice and soft. So GF can drive it without much complaining.
