Four Months with the Turbo.... & Photos (& Answers)
I bought the turbo in November of last year from David (D-Land) in Texas and drove it 1500 miles to its new home. It was a very well cared for 993 with a lot of documentation and only 38,000 miles. I figured after buying it I would sit back and relax with it for awhile and slowly add mods. It came well optioned from the factory and the prior owners had added OEM turbo S ducts and M030 ROW springs. I was wrong.
The first items were easy. I had saved some nice parts off the cab so they were retro fitted to the turbo. I added hardback heated sport seats after I had the backs painted arctic silver; the 340mm silver stitched Atiwe steering wheel, the red seat belts and the silver hood emblem.
Then I add the 996 Turbo Wheels, and new Michelin PS2s tires, and the CDR-220 radio, and the Rennline Pedals, and the FDM Turbo Sports Muffler, and the Bilstein HDs, and the Front Protection Bar, and the FDM Short Shifter Kit, and a Golden Rod, and a set of Wevo Motor Mounts, and OEM Clear Front Corner Lenses, and Walrod Bushings, and an ’02 turbo shift ****, and LED lights for the front position lights, and will it ever end……

My favorite color. Silver also always looks clean.
Just looks perfect for a street car. I have owned several silver cars. Have tried other colors and always come back to silver...
Great pics.

For some of us, this car is thought of as the ultimate 993. So, now that you've driven it awhile, what do you think? Does it live up to it's reputation? Anything about it that leaves you wanting? What's the best thing about it? Is it comparable to your cab in any way?
