I HATE MY IMMOBILIZER!!! Please Help!
SO I decided to go for a drive today............... But my immobilizer had other plans.
Like usual my remote wont deactivate my alarm, Acts like its a low battery but its not the battery. And because I wasent sure what was going to happen I put in my Key and unlocked the door and the alarm went haywire, I couldnt turn it off so had to disconnect the battery and everytime I connect it back it is still going off.
What is the easiest and best way to disconnect the horn so I can plug in the battery and try to deactivate the alarm by the remote?
Where is the alarm horn located?

Horn is on the drivers side, toward the back, on top of the skid. God be with you. Mine has only done it twice, but it has just fixed itself with no explaination. Go ahead and replace the battery in the remote.

Guy....keep us informed. Disconnecting the horn under the engine will not stop the lights from flashing and will not enable the car to start, I'm guessing. You may need to enter the secret code (hope you have yours, I can't seem to find mine) by turning the ignition on and off.....or can the immobilizer button do that for you...........?

Thank you for helping me through another stage of immobilizer HELL!
Got the horn unpluged and the battery connected, Took about 30 times but finally the remote deactivated the alarm. and im not gonna plug that stupid horn back in either.
I dont think its possible to steal these cars anyway, I cant drive it with the keys, alarm remote and title in hand. if someone can drive it off without any of those items They deserve it more then me.

Now I got another question...... when I activate the alarm the light blinks 2 times at a time, I read somewhere that means something.
BTW. My remote is really weird, When I get it to work once, It works from the first time I press it if I do it over and over, If I wait 15-20 min then it takes me 5-10 times to make it work, Overnight and it takes 15-30 times.

Your remote is acting hinky. Do you have another one to try?
Regarding the blinking lights....when the car locks, the lights will flash twice to indicate it has locked. If it doesn't lock (door not fully closed) the lights will flash (once I believe), and the horn (you disconnected) will give a quick toot. I think it is all described in your owner's manual.

I had this problem and solved it, ringing a well-known Porsche independent mechanic, who took me thru the simple step needed.
My problem was not fixed in any way by clicking on the key fob; like you, I opened the door using the key in the lock and I disconnected the battery several times to stop the horn and lights.
Turns out in my case, this was not the added immobilizer causing the problem, but the basic car alarm package. Solution: lock the car door using the key whilst the battery is connected. This stopped the horns and lights immediately. Not sure why the systems upset each other but this worked for me. Simple but effective. Good luck
