Hi Bill, I have always wondered what that reinforced part is which is hard to decipher on the PET. Here is a picture I wish you can confirm.

Manila, is that an RS?
Can you take more photos of the seems around the shock towers?

Don't see anything unusuall there other then maybe more tacks?

Yes, that is the reinforcement used on RS but not the others. It is the sole sheetmetal change between the chassis

Can that reinforcement be retrofitted to a normal 993?

Different question - Whereabouts in the engine bay are the engine type number (like M64/21) and engine serial number?

yes

engine 3 is to the right of the fan on a vertical flat
