Default How much is a set of Kinesis K18 worth these days?

I'm looking at the wide body fitment.

This is what I have been offered and want to see what's a fair price:

$2000 if in near perfect condition (as they appear in the photo), because I don't think it makes sens to pay more for a used set of wheels. Especially ones that you cannot get parts/replacements for.

just my .02$

I've had too many bad experiences with buying and selling used wheels that I don't do it anymore.
I once bought a set of BBS E28 magnesium racing wheels for my GT3, knowing that they were beat to death at track.
What I didn't know was that this $800 set of wheels ended up costing me almost $4k when all was said and done. (cracked centers, bent halves etc.)

On another instance, I sold a set of Kinesis K28ss that came with my 993 to a friend. Eventually he found out that one of the centers had hairline cracks. since Kinesis doesn't exist anymore, I had to buy another used set of K28s so we could make one full set. I got nothing out of the deal, except a big headache...

-> I might be a bit biased...

those look to be the set owned by carlos. you'd never loose money on those.. They are worth anywhere from 1500 - $2200. he's selling them for dirt cheap. Do you like the look of them though? They've got the reverse lips.. most kinesis wheels have standard stepped lips. Definitely a good buy if you like the look. And if you ever need a replacement wheel half or center cap or hardware, i've got you covered

Wait a minute... you can supply parts for these wheels?
I still have one set of 18" Kinesis wheels that I use on the track and one of them had a cracked barrel, which I welded, but I would feel better if the wheel half was replaced.

Are these wheels the new Lexani design? Since Lexani bought out Kinesis and they are not supporting the older, better looking design, the new Lexani design has reverse lips.
