Default Tell me about your LED shop light

I've got a bunch of work to do on my car and was thinking about getting one of the newer cordless LED shop lights. Anyone have one for a decent price you could recommend. Thanks!

I got one at Home Depot a few weeks ago. I think it cost about $30. Rechargeable. Very nice unit.

Bought mine at Home Depot about a month ago because I ran over my trusty old one with my truck during an 80k maintenence!

It's a fairly rugged unit and it works great. Nice white light, and doesn't generate heat like an incandescent unit does. I think it was $20, comes with 12v and 110v chargers. Said to last 4 hours on a charge, and good for 300 cycles - time will tell.

If you have cordless tools, you can often buy an LED worklight that uses the same batteries.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll have to check out the one at HD. I saw a couple on Amazon for >$75 and thought that was a bit much.

This is the type thing I wouldn't be afraid to buy from Harbor Freight, but sounds like they are cheap from other places as well.

I passed on them and went with a dual 13W tube shop light. Selectable hi-low light and it does not generate heat.

I just don't like anything that I have to throw away because it has proprietary batteries that cost more than the unit when I bought it, if the batteries are even available.
