That doesn't look like a widebody to me. Something fishy going on here.

Just baited him with

"I'm a cash buyer in Arizona, what would it take to end the auction early? Market is tuff now for Porsches, would you take 15 grand if I can wire 2 grand tomorrow western union, then the other 13 grand when I get a truck to come pick it up?"

yeah, pretty fishy dude. and he doesn't know a wide body car from a hole in the ground... see other thread

and he relisted it? eBay hasn't booted him yet... I predict it will be soon. Or after he rips someone off.

Last week it was being sold by "zymolcorporate," now it's "zymolmarketing." I went round and round with this guy over email. He had three pictures of the car last time. The first one in the auction (the narrowbody), and two others were of a widebody. He kept insisting that the first one was the car and it was indeed a widebody. It's not. I alerted him to this fact and he stopped corresponding with me and the auction was pulled soon thereafter.

"Zymol marketing"... gimme a break. He forgot the line about how it belongs to a world famous brain surgeon and has only been driven when the weather is 72° - 76° and the relative humidity is 19%.

In fairness, my post above WAS harsh.

It is a tropical smelling wax.

The seller will also not let a nearby buyer see the car.

I'd never bid on something I can't first see.

I asked him if this was his first scam. This was his response:

Dear nightflyermd11,

I've got an idea. If you think it's a scam contact eBay and ask for
Kai Curtis. He is in Legal. I'm sure he can update you.

Without a doubt a scam! First item being sold...Not allowing local to see it! Crappy pics. This has scam 101 written all over it. Stay far far away from this car.
