Nice spread, with a driveway like that you definetly need a blower. My cat refuses to go outside, she gets up to the door and makes an about turn. As soon as it piles up this round, I throw her out and take a pic.

I just got an email that one of my co-workers lost his house in Great Falls VA (20 miles west of here) to a fire. The fire trucks couldn't get through the snow to save it. He and the wife are OK, they lost a cat and bird, but their horses were in a nearby barn that was untouched.

I'm done complaining... things could be worse!
wow, saw that one on the news. Glad no one got injured, poor pets. Blizzard 09 a friend sister (48 years old) collapse in College Park, emergency services couldn't get to her and she died.

BTW,, some pretty lady driving a black 993 convertible almost ran me over at a traffic light in DC last week. Was it you?

Snowin again. I'm pictured out.................

Hmmm... wasn't me... my girl has been covered in the garage since mid-January. There is a black 993 convertible that also parks in my garage, but I don't know who drives it... maybe that was her!

Suffice it to say we're in another whiteout blizzard again today. No pics necessary at this point anymore! I love the snow out there, though. It is SO beautiful. I'm going to have to spoil my good feeling by shoveling the foot or so that's already out there in a few minutes. Not looking forward to it but it'll be a lot worse if I wait till this storm is over is what I'm guessing. More snow predicted for next Monday AND Friday. Whoopee!

I took delivery of my 993 two days before this mess started. I sit in it nightly, inspecting the gauges and buttons, making "vroom vroom" sounds. I'm going insane.

I'll bet you are stoked! Don't worry, Spring is right around the corner. Yeah right...

Just spent many hours shoveling our walks, steps front and back, driveway area, etc. Plow plowed back in my driveway twice already. It's all good. My back is stronger than I thought it was.

Good job Steve, I'm under the covers watching TV. Hopefully the winds would blow it all away.

It's just going to blow back in and cover whatever you shoveled free. I'm waiting until Friday to fire up the blower.

Uh, thanks for sharing. And you BETTER be wrong!

It's now officially 18" deep what I just shoveled. It was REALLY hard. Do I get a medal for this? I'm thinking a "Husband of the Year" trophy.

I'm just going to send the wife out and I'll make her a "Wife of the year" trophy.
Not my fault she did not bring enough stuff home from the office to keep her busy through tomorrow.

I just got back from doing a lil pro-active snow clearing of the drive way and side walks. I was using a snow blower... the wind was soo strong that it blew everything into the neighbors' yards I wonder if anyone will notice??

I went out and cannot figure how much we got today. a couple of spots of black pavement and places where there are 3 foot drifts in the driveway. Shoveled areas in the front yard (damn dogs) have 18 inches or so fairly consistent but in the back yard I had to shovel 2 1/2 feet of stuff to get to the heat pumps again.

I say I received a plethora of snow.
