Default BMW guys please help. BLUETOOTH- on E60 5-Series any successes?

I am probably not posting this in the correct section but I know this is a group with lots of knowledge. I have an '04 530I Sport that has the optional Bluetooth but I don't know nor have a clue how to pair my phone to it and find no clear answers on the net. I do not have the BLUETOOTH manual but do have the pass key for it and everything else. I have paired my phone to tons of cars before, but cant figure this one for the life of me. Any help at all, most appreciated.

Do you have a cell phone charger looking thing in the arm rest? If so you need something called a BTMU that looks like a small cell phone and connects into the system. Let me know if you have one in it or not. I have an extra one.

Note: I've used several bluetooth phones in my e60 (and without the cradle) with no issues.

I had the cradle installed when I got the 530I along with an adaptor for my wife's phome and mine. Big mistake. It did little and you switch phone out so often that it is too costly to keep up buying new cradles adaptor for the new phones. Oh well.
