Rinty, I'm waiting with bated breath for some real impressions when you have a chance to really drive the car.
I like Koni. I like Koni a lot. But FSD's description on their page sounded exactly like snake oil. I want to hear real opinion from the real world.

Ride Height...on these springs....
..appears to be a function of spring length. That is sort of old school, but they are cheap...figure to add in about $400 extra for a set of springs...but in the Bimmer revue cited in this string, I read that KONI recommends stock ride height...
I think I'll just have to spend the extra for the PSS 10s. I don't want too, but I don't want short springs rattling around when the car is up on the lift. And with the PSS 10s, the spring stiffness is matched to the shocks.
"If it sounds to go to be true, it just may be!" Anonymous
PS I don't want to be the buzz kill on this thread.
PPS I have PSS9s now, it is time to rebuild them....

I'll add this data point since we now have some experience with these:
FSDs and ROW M033 springs are a good combo for the street (maybe more depending on your off-road use and expectations). "Sporty" setup but good on rough roads.
Only drawback is the lack of ride height adjustment. Your height is what it is with these... dependant upon springs. (struts are adjustable for corner balancing, of course).
All in all, a good product for the price.

Paragon lists them with a rear application as does Carnewal.

yes, they are available, front and rear... though we are waiting for more to be released. Supposed to be next month
Apparently pretty popular for 993s right out of the gate

The M030s are a progressive spring
psst... just because Darin has his car front and center (cough... glory hog.. cough cough...) in our avatar doesn't mean he is posting

I'm just curious what the recommended spring will be for the Sports. I'm guessing M030?

hmm... I am fairly certain the ride height is the same on either spring type. ROW is as ROW does

Anyway, take a look at this bigger picture of my Cab in my Avatar. That ride height is R.O.W. M030 Sport suspension, and I believe about an inch lower than the coupe you had in at the shop with the FSD's the last time I was there ... am I crazy here? (for reference, my coupe in back is about 1/4" higher than RS height)

From personal experience on several other cars, Koni Sport Yellow are excellent shocks... that don;t last long, unfortunately. Could of years and they start to lose adjustment settings and then leak. I've has several replaced under warranty, but labor is not fun.
I see that FSD went from $900 to $1100+ at Paragon. Is that the case everywhere? What are people paying for Yellows? I need suspension. M030 or M033, probably + ... not sure what.

Doesn't mean it doesn't exist though!
Hi Mark! Well, that's a little confusing ..

I believe M030 is the spring that carries the "Sport" nomenclature...
Hopefully I'm not wrong or I'll be embarrassed... publicly
I suspect the shocks on the rear of your car are height adjustable. Let's look tomorrow!
Here is the basic spring rundown (found here on RL some years ago):

ROW M030 & Turbo: 965.343.531.01 - Orange/Green
USA M032: 964.343.531.11 - Green
USA M030 & Turbo: 964.343.531.12 - Orange
Rear Springs:
ROW M029: 993.333.531.02* - Violet or 993.333.531.03* - Grey
ROW M033: 993.333.531.21* - White or 993.333.531.22* - Lilac
ROW M033 Carrera S/4S: 993.333.531.23 - Pink
ROW M030: 993.333.531.11 - Brown
ROW Turbo: 993.333.531.16 - Red

We are right at $1075 for the FSDs, at least for the time being
