do you mean programming a new key fob, or something else?
if you mean key fob, i just did that and will forward you the directions i used.

one thing i learned was that if you program one fob, your previously programmed fob no longer "has the code"
i had to repeat it a few times to learn to do all fobs consecutively / concurrently.

falling off buildings is easy (anybody can do that ), but you're right, FLYING off them is a bit more challenging.

be safe

Putting in the rollbar. Dropped one of the bolts down the heater vent and spent hours getting it out. Tape yours off first!!!

Aligning and securing the first / second gear 'chicklets, ball and spring' onto the guide sleeve assembly, then into place on the pinion shaft without shooting an eye out.

Then in second place, stripping the back seats AND glue/foam/residue off the interior sheet metal. Glad my thumbprints grew back.

Trying to do it in the backseat...wait a minute...that wasn't DIY. Never mind

I recall major frustration trying to get the ride height set-up after installing the PSS10s. I think there might have been a bit of cussing.

I 2nd or 3rd that bloody Glue on the carpet....

I have never had a DIY that took so many times longer than i thought than that!

Th guys that were doing some mods to the rep - said - if you want to pull the carpet out - it will save us about 5 hours - I said - CRAP - I am ripping it out - so don't care about keeping it nice - so should be done in 2 tops. Easy!

8 hours later i was still getting that bloody glue out of my hair with thinners....

Probably the spark plug at the back behnd the power steering pump.
Somehow I managed to drop the plug and socket down there, unable to retrieve it, I left it thre overnight. (didn't start/drive the car)
The next morning fresh and less frustrated, I managed to complete the job!

Unsuccessfully trying to change the wiper park. I've easily done this on other 911s I've owned, but on the 993 there is just no room. I even took the hood and left hood hinge off, instruments out, still no joy. After about six hours over two days time and very sore hands, I took it to my favorite wrench (with the hood still off), and they gave up after a couple hours of cursework. Kudos to the ratlike cunning of any DIY gods who have completed this one. I gave up on it and just pulled the intermittent wiper relay to get them to park where I want.

#1 Getting the old shift **** off, until I put a vice grip on the shifter arm and pried against that.
#2 Getting the ccu to work properly with the RS heater bypass. (still working on that one.)

No, don't give up. I ranked it at a 6 only because it's fairly big job. There are a few tricky things but if you take your time and follow the DIY you'll be fine.

Good Luck!

Man, lets not start talking about dropping things (nuts and bolts) in bad places. This topic could easily could be it's own thread.
