Hey guys, it was great seeing all of the Nashville-area Rennlisters out again for a meet up. I think the fact that this event was more or less an informal, 'spontaneous' get-together is what really added to it.

Wow, there were some really cool cars at Saturday morning's meet!! I missed the New Year's GTG being out of town, so it was a real treat seeing all the 993 cars, as well as the uber-cool CGT, and the two F-cars.

Mike, it was really great meeting you and your wife. Hopefully you're starting to see that we really have a fairly decent little Porsche community here in the Mid-State area. Good luck with the house-hunting, and try not to get too stressed out with this aspect of the process.

For some reason, unintentional I'm sure, lol, it seems like the pics of my car were inadvertently 'edited out' to the cutting room floor, LOL, so in case anyone's interested, here's a shot of my baby taken at one of my favorite scenic I-75 rest stops along the Nashville-to-Vero Beach corridor, just slightly north of Atlanta.

Rick- I'm afraid the group shot that I posted containing 1/3 of your car may be the best I have. I tried to get close-ups of each 993, but there always seemed to be someone congregating around your car so I'm afraid I never got one. It may just be the subconsciously, I don't need any pics of your car since I stare at it most days through my office window. I think I spend more time looking at your 993 than my own! Anyways, your car was definitely there- let me know if you need me to vouch to the police or anything

. Just kidding Brendan. You don't need to take any pics of my car, lol!! I was just fooling around. By the way, it was great seeing you again. You know, I was really admiring your car. The condition of the paint is simply phenomenal for a '95!! It looks like it just came off the assembly line in Stuttgart!! And thanks for watching my car's 'back' at work, lol!! FYI, some days I park in a different lot, so you won't see me everyday. Today I drove the 968 after seeing Matt's cool car on Saturday.

Thanks for the compliments on my car. Its had a front end respray and the rock guards replaced, but otherwise all paint is original and in pretty good shape for a 95k mile car.

I saw the 968 out there today- it is beautiful! I was talking to Matt about getting a 968 as a track car...I've always had a thing for them!

Robert and Vince- good to see you this morning. Vince- bravo for being the only one man enough to drive you 993.

Everyone else didn't miss a thing. One 355, one NSX and one SL55. Looks like the cold weather scared most away. I think all of us who came plan to do the next one on the first Saturday in March, so maybe we can all try to get together for that one.
