I was over mailing a letter at the post office, and noticed an Arena Red coupe parked at Matt's shop. It looked very cool. As you know, there aren't many 993s on the east side of town, so when you do actually spot one, they tend to stand out and look strikingly good, in a sea of SUV's, minivans, and pickup trucks, lol. ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Hope all is well.
Regards, -rick.

Yes, I was at Matt's shop yesterday talking to him about replacing the wheels/tires on my new to me coupe. We decided the best thing for me is to go with the MY02 Reps. from Wheel Dynamics and Mich Pilot Sport Plus's. I wanted A/S tires because I don't want to be limited by the weather to drive the car.
I'll keep the current wheels w/ BFG KDW's for DE duty.
You should see Matt's new 993 RS Cup car he has in the shop. He just had the 3.8 engine rebuilt too.

Last May, I had a set of Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires installed on my '00 Boxster S. It's only been about 8 months, and I haven't really 'pushed' the car, but I have been happy with them so far. I was glad to have them when it rained almost every day on a road trip to Long Island last June. ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I also have the 'non-plus' version of the Pilot Sport A/S tires on my 968. Seems like it's been 3 or 4 years now. I've been getting absolutely incredible tread life, and great handling with them.

Sounds like it's time for a Starbucks reunion........hmmmmmmmmm. I think we could pull a few more 993 and other Porsche owners out of the woodwork.
BTW, Bill, the MY02's are a stunning choice. If I had a narrow body N/A 993 I would put those on in a second. Very pretty wheel that matches the aesthetics of the 993 lines.
Rick, good to see you still lurking out there. Looks like you've added to your stable.

Your turbo looks awesome, by the way! I just noticed the pics in the 'Who has the best looking car' thread elsewhere in the 993 forum.

I'm definitely in for a Starbucks reunion- just say the word. In fact, after braving the 19 degree weather at the Cars and Coffee a couple of weekends ago, I say lets go for it this weekend...cold be damned!

The PCA club's Annual Banquet is this Sat evening but there's no reason I couldn't do a Starbucks run this w/e too. I hope to get all the cars washed by this w/e, get all the salt/dirt off the cars, maybe even power wash the wheel wells. I don't think we're going to be anywhere near the temps we had for the Cars n Coffee the other week, thank God. maybe we can get Mike to join us??

I'll be down in Nashville on Saturday morning (not in the P-car). I am in for a meet if a dirty CLK can join the mix. Someone post the location and the time and I'll be there.

This Saturday works for me too. The earlier the better- 8:00 a.m. perhaps?
Last time we met at the Starbucks in Brentwood off of Franklin Road. That location is fine with me if it works for everyone else.
Mike- dirty CLKs are welcomed to attend. Look forward to meeting you.

Sounds good to me. An early rise for me (earlier for Mike though!) but I can be there.
I think we've got a couple of others we can notify, I'll see if I can remember their ID's.
