Default OT: Idiots on the road

This past weekend the driver of this vehicle purposely cut me off and almost ran me off the highway. I see the info on the license plate. Should I track him down, tie him behind my car and drag him on the highway for a few miles? There are seriously major A-holes on the roads.

If you really do take the time and energy to track him down then you become as much of a bonehead as he is. ******** abound; you can't change that. What can change is how you let them affect you.

He drives a Mazda6. That's his punishment

Seriously! I time it any more when I leave the driveway to see how long it takes for someone to be stupid. Usually doesn't take long.....

In somes states and provinces there you can sumbit a complaint to the state/province with the licence plate details. I know here if a plate is flagged 10 or more times they get a letter from the transport department..... If they have done it to you today they have probably done it to many others, maybe a letter from the govt may correct their ways.....

On this continent, absolutely. Its not a lack of driver training; its an attitude thing.

Try riding a motorcycle, and the a-holes double in quantity.

There is another side of the coin though. A lot of road rage is blamed on everyone but the drivers that cause it; the ignorant and selfish left lane dreamers.

It never fails that on my way to work some idiot in a lowered Honda Civic with one of the cartoonish mufflers wants to race. The worst part is the smell of too much fuel and burning oil those things leave behind as they drive away and I cruise along with my top down enjoying yet another beautiful day in South Florida! We all have to learn to let it go! By the way, the only thing worse that a Mazda 6 is a Mazda 3 or a Ford Focus!

I say go after the bastard. Hopefully it'll make him think twice about doing it again.

If you do nothing, he effectively got away with it, and is bound to do it again.

Flame on...

I can't believe you got a pic of him! After he passed me and crossed two lanes of traffic, only to miss you by what-seemed-to-me-to-be inches, I thought he was going to run you into the overpass! All in all, I am just glad you had better driving skills than did he. Water off a duck's back. We'll get him next time

The universe will take care of it!

Saturday night I was on my way home on a four lane divided highway. This bonehead was tailing me like crazy - I just needed a minute to get over with all the traffic. As soon as I get over, this guy flies by me - and right behind him is a FL state trooper.

That felt good.

For once and perhaps a first! A cop was there when you needed one.

To the OP, just let it go. Jealousy may have been the mindset of the idiot. That temp tag on his car indicates he just bought it and he just wishes the tag was on a Porsche. You win!!
