Default Note Lower Dash.

Did it the other day with Rennline's lower dash cover. Chris Walrod and Robin installed the black wheel today. Only have a crappy iphone pic of the results below..

Love it.

Still need to figure out how to "finish" a few items under the dash. !ts a bit too raw.

Oooh, very nice. The new Rennline piece?

Purpose = more knee room and bit of weight loss.

Also, hmm, I believe a Rothsport shifter? My my....

Looks good. I need to do the same, still haven't done anything...
Reason for me is the cage, it's knee bar won't allow the lower dash.

I just wanted to clean things up a bit. I'm not real fond of the grey-purpley alernate dash color. This really helped minimize it. You don't realize how bulky that lower dash is till its gone. I never used the ashtray or glovebox anyway. Just put the paperwork in the door.

Realistically, the lower dash isn't that heavy and this is not a race car. But it makes the cabin feel cleaner and more roomy.

Looks good!
Do you actually have the weight differences?

I've been thinking of doing this, and the radio delete from rennline...

do you have more pics? I was curious about all the clutter under there and
what the center console looks like without the pad resting on it...

This pieces saves at least 15 pounds, maybe a couple more. The lower dash and the two big steel brackets on the ends are heavy.

Looks clean but how does it look if you look straight in at it?
