Annoyances, if any, with your 993?
I've been reading one of the threads about "listening or not" to your radio.
That is my only complaint about my 993. My 6th (all used) 911.
It is a '95 Cab. and on the highway, at crusing speed, the engine does make a lot of noise. Such that I have to really crank up the volume to listen to a CD. But I'll also say that the seats in my 993 are so comfortable (I have the fully optional seats with three way electric adjustment). I can comfortably drive this car for a full day (10 hours or more) and not have a sore back. The only other car I've owned that I could say that about was an old Volvo 144. Supremely comfortable seats. Even an S Class Mercedes was not that comfortable (but you felt like you were the town mayor driving that tank around).
Also if the top gets really really wet, (say if it's out in the rain for 3 straight days - not uncommon in Seattle), there can be a very slight drip from the right front corner of the top (where it meets the Windshield). I've had a convertible expert here in town go over the top. He re-installed a soft rubber gasket that runs along the top between the front windshield and the back of the passenger door. It seems to have reduced this "drip" to "barely ever". The car is garaged most of the time so the top does not get really wet. (I'll also say I've owned numerious convertibles, foreign and domestic - and I've never had one that didn't leak under heavy prolonged rain.
I also apply the 3-M Scotchgard stuff about three times/year. I inquired about a Porsche convertible top sealant - but frankly it was ten times the price of the 3-M product and does not appear any different than the 3-M stuff.
Oh yeah, if you "drive it like you stole it" your rear tires only last about 10,000 miles.

The LWF (light weight flywheel) by far and away, is the biggest annoyance of my 993 and probably for 70%+ of all other 1995 owners with the LWF.
Of course I cant speak for others but I cant image anyone who loves a stalling vehicle from time to time.
About 70% experience stalls in the 95/LWF and the other 30% probably are lying.

From a race car point of view, Gearing is a real problem. Needs closer ratio even for the street IMO.
Light weight flywheel is not a problem on my chipped car. I don't know what or who made the chip as it came with the car. Only stalls when cold.
Glue, these porsche people really love their glue. I think they used glue to put the glue on so the glue would stick to the glue, oh and then cover it with foam.

That my wife would not put her car in the driveway when I ran out of garage space to keep mine.

I wouldn't mind a tilt wheel too.

You know what's just unbelievably annoying? You can't get the AC vents to blow directly onto you. It's 110 degrees inside your car, you crank up the AC, and you can't direct that cool breeze onto your face. You just have to sit there for 10 minutes and wait for the ambient temps to decrease. This is really damned annoying. They couldn't make the center vents angle to the sides a few more millimeters? WTF people.

Only one...
More leg and knee room for my 6' 1" with 33" inseam build.
The steering wheel does not tilt and is not telescopic. Most cars in this class in 1995 had at least tilt steering...my 1995 BMW 3 series had tilt steering!
