Does anyone know the source of the round OBD connector on the 964/early 993 and has someone made their own diagnostics as per Porsche Hammer?

thanks for the old post. I sourced a cable which converts the round plug to the regular rectangular OBD2 female end. I have a modern scanner and when it arrives will see what happens(FRY my on board computer?). Will post if it works.

Hi Andrew. I have the same predicament as you. I have just bought a OBD2 scanner and would like to attempt the same as you. please could you tell me where you found the cable and for hom much? Also I would be interested to know if it worked? Look forward to hearing from you...
