Just added some extra pics...

Hi all. I've been a lurker more than poster on the board for the past 4+ years. Like many, I wanted my 911 since I was a kid and 3.5 years ago I was luky enough to buy my first pcar, a gorgeous C2S. We have had lots of fun together, having driven as far as Ottawa from NYC and back for an overnighter (had to watch the Buffalo Sabres lose to the Ottawa Senators after beating the NY Rangers in the quarterfinals that year). But now she's ready for a new home. Here are the details:

Black on black
27,xxx miles
Perfect condition – no accidents (minor paint chip touchups on hood)
8 way Power Driver's seat
PSS9’s
6 speed
18” Fikse FM-10’s polished lip, anodized centers with painted center caps
Michelin PS2’s 235’s on front, 285’s on rear (2K on rears, 10K on fronts)
Hi-fi sound (updated speakers)
Alpine head unit with Sat radio & iPod adaptor
Built in K-40
Power driver’s seat
Aluminum door sills
Aluminum sport pedals + foot rest/dead pedal
Upgraded exhaust
Tea tray (whale tail) spoiler – factory option
White face gauges (stock)
Original spare and full spare kit – compressor works
Sunroof just repaired – all new guides & cables
Clear front turn signals
RS Short shift kit & coupling
Gert’s crash bar
And probably other stuff I forgot!

I bought the car in May, 2006 with just under 14K miles.. Have driven her for the past 13K miles. Always garaged.

Asking $52,000/obo

Please PM me for more pics &/or details if you're interested

Happy Holidays to all!!!

If you can afford it, don't sell it. Our car is iconic and you will miss it for many reasons which you already know.

A few people have asked me for some more information. i thought it would make sense to post it here in case anyone else was interested:

I bought the car in May of 2006 from Willhoit (Springfield, MO) with approximately 13,783 miles. I paid up at the time as I wanted a very low mileage 2S or 4S. I am the 3rd owner and do not have the full set of records. The car fax was clean and I had two PPI's done - one in MO pre-purchase and another from my mechanic in New York. I then had a third guy (Formula Motorsports http://www.formulamotorsports.com/index2.php ) do a complete go-over when I brought the car in to have the suspension readjusted 6 weeks after purchase. That is also when I bought the Fikse's, installed the short shift kit, and fixed the a/c (which blows VERY COLD). All three inspections were 100%. I also verified ownership history with Porsche via the VIN #. I located the dealer in Texas (if I remember correctly) who had sold and serviced the car to the 1st owner. While they would not release the records to me for privacy issues re: the original owner, they did read the service history to me over the phone. With that information I was able to verify mileage and care.

The car is mostly stock except for:
Ø Suspension PSS9’s (have photos)
Ø Wheels
Ø Sound system
Ø RS short shift kit
Ø Gert’s crash bar
Ø Clear signal lenses on front
Ø Exhaust (was done pre-purchase so do not have details – have been told it’s a bit more free-flow but I have not had that documented)
Maintenance performed since I have owned it includes:
Ø Sunroof repair - just replaced all guides and cables (Nov 2009)
Ø New valve covers & gaskets (June 2009)
Ø Hood struts replaced (June 2008)
Ø a/c recharged
Ø suspension readjusted – approx 1.5” lower than stock, perfect balanced & aligned (July 2006)
Ø New tires (rears are 95%, fronts 60%)
Ø all oil changes, air cabin filter, hose & belts checks, etc.
Ø have all records on car since purchase. I can provide copies for your review

Aside from needing a fresh detailing, the car is great. Selling it because my kids are getting too big for it and it’s lost it’s practicality in my capacity as a single father, even as the second car.

Thanks

MK
